The objective of occupational health and safety as well as industrial safety is to establish and provide safe working conditions for MSZ JSC’s employees. To achieve this objective, a set of measures if implemented, including regular training, briefings, drills and knowledge assessments.
In addition to the existing practices, MSZ JSC launched a new Safety Culture programme in 2014. This initiative is aimed at continual improvement of safety processes and procedures at the company. As part of this project development, new standards were established, a self-assessment of the safety culture status was carried out and personnel training programmes were introduced.
In addition, occupational health and safety as well as industrial safety issues are monitored at MSZ JSC by a technical inspector of MSZ JSC’s Trade Union Organisation and authorised occupational health and safety public representatives of the company functions. Their work significantly contributes to establishing safe working conditions as well as preventing occupational accidents and occupational diseases.
In accordance with the statutory requirements, MSZ JSC conducts a scheduled special assessment of working conditions at workplaces every five years, which determines occupational hazard levels and working condition classes. Based on the assessment results, additional measures are taken to ensure employee safety and improve the work environment.
